Rene Doubleday was ranked first with a grade point average of400. She described herself as athletic, ougomg, and involved She was involved in Studei Council National Honor Society, gollf basketball, and tennis. She also worked as a receptionist for an optometrist. She compromised to finish her schoolwork. 'Instead of spending all my tune doing one thing, I divide my time so I have an equal amount ol' time A everything. 'Y take my grades seriously and take pride in them. Good grades gave Rene a feeling of accomplishment and stability. Her tavorite teachers were Mn Lushbough and Miss Grateluschen. After high school Rene planned to go to collegge, but was unsure of her major. 'Shy and impatient at times, hardworking, but I like to have fun at whatever I in doing, was how Christy Rossbach described herself Christy was ranked second with a grade point average of 3.974 She was involved in National Honor Society, Pom Poms, and track. In her spare time, Christy liked to swim, ski and listen to the radio. After high school she planned to go to Wartburg college in Waverly, Iowa. '7 would really like to be a pediatrician, because I really love kids, To finish her schoolwork, she saicL 'Y plan out and divide up my time so I get everything completed. Christyls hivorite class was PsychologyfSociology because, 'T learn alot about myself and Ms. Gregory creates an open and relaxed atmosphere. She liked ML Blair because, 'T have leamed a lot in his class, Christy also liked ML Haug because, 'He makes class interesting and enjoyable. Shawn Mitchell was ranked third with a grade point average of 3.940 Her peers described her an 'Mn Intellectual, a good Hiend outgoing, fun to be with, natural talent, and a person who strives for excellence. She was involved in plays, National Honor Society, and Drama Club. She also worked at Wendyi Good grades came naturally for Shawn. She said she made good grades because it was expected. Her favorite classes were Introduction to Theatre Arts and Algebra 2. Shawn s tfavorite teachers were Ms. Meier, Mnjenkins, Mr. Morrison, and Mrs. Haug Shawn planned to go to college out of state, but her major was uncertain. Quiet, responsible, triendlyq and hot-tempered were the words Tuan Nguyen used to describe himsellf Tuan was ranked fourth with a grade point average of 1933. He was involved in Intramural Volleyball. Tuan planned to go to the University of Colorado, Boulden to study mechanical engineering. School is a lot of work. You have to be responsible. His favorite classes were chemistry and physics, because, They get you to think. He 1 e r, rrrson, s lk d M A ' M , Arffman, Mr. Lushbough, and Mr. Morrison, Tami Stewart was ranked fifth with a grade point average of 3.882 She described herself as 'Isensitive and independent. She was involved in Latin Clul National Honor Society and Future Business Leaders of America. 'Sometimes my grades come naturally, but it usually depends upon the class and the teacher. She tried to budget he time to finish her schoolwork. She enjoyed most of her classes. Her tavorite teachers were, Mrs. Henning, Mr, Lushbough, ML Morrison and Mr. Thompson. They helped make schoc more enjoyable. After high school, Tami planned to go to the University of Colorado, Boulder to study pharmacy, X

Ylagoing, athletic, friendly, shy, quiet, successful, and striving for the best in life, were the words Kelly Bean used to describe herself Kelly was ranked sbtth with a grade point average of 3.761 She was involved in volleyball, basketball, tennis, and golf She also particnuuted in Student Council as the Senior Class treasurer and the vice president of National Honor Society. Kelly is in Ski Club and FBLA. Grades came easy with a little effort to Kelly. Along with het Iaqe amount ofparticqaation in school activities, Kelly also had a job at King Soopers. She admits that she has leamed to budget her time. Her good grades heh: improve her self-image, and she added that she has always pushed herself towards the best in everything she did Gretchen Augsburger was ranked seventh with a grade point avenge of 5. 761 She described herself as ougoing. 'T tty to be lriends with everyone. Gretchen was involved in National Honor Society, French Club, and FBLA. Along with her job at Gart Brothers, Gretchen finds it hard to budget her time, but obviously, she has managed to keep grades as a priority. As for future plans, Gretchen wants to attend the University of Texas, or CU at Boulder majoring tn Business Administration. She is also interested in medical research. Shy, quiet, but tnendly, were the words Kristine Lilley used to describe herself Kristine was ranked eghth with a grade point average of 3.699 She was involved in FHA, National Honor Society, a manager for Girls Track, and FootbalL and she was also a student ttarnen Kristine planned to go to the University of Northern Colorado to become a medical technician, or a teacher for handicapped children. Although she has always made good grades, Kristine admits that she has had to work to keep her grades up. She said that she was able to keep these grades and participate in so many activities because she put her priorities in order: School comes first, she added. Futhermore, concemrng her grades, Kristine feels it is important, because it makes her feel good about herself Kathryn Schlicht was ranked ninth in her class with a grade point average of 3.609 She described herself as being quiet, shy, and a pertectionist. She was involved in drama club, and National Honor Society. Kathryn also held a job at So-Fro Fabrics. She adds that she has always made good grades with an excessive amount of work, and was able to stzll hold the job and rank by budgeting her time. When asked why it was important for her to get good grades, Kathryn said that it makes her feel good about herself Kathryn would like to go on to major in elementary education and theatre. Lindsie Garcia was ranked tenth with a grade pornt average of 3.601 He described himself as dependable, easy to get along with, hehuful, creative, and an outdoors-type ofperson, He was involved in intramural sports and National Honor Society. Lindsie admits that his high grades just took course during hgh school. He holds a summer job, and since his activities are during lunch, they don 't interfere with his school work. Lindsies future goals are to go to college and major in biology. He then plans to become a wrldlik managen or a wildlife taxidermist.
