PEP CLUB A K si. . Hinkley's Pep Club had a great deal of participation with over one- hundred students as members. By the end of the year, the number had declined to forty-five. The club par- ticipated in such activities as pizza parties, candy sales, and visting oth- er schools to observe their Pep As- semblies and Pep Club. Our goal is to make the school spirit more lively and to support the athletes. We did this by splitting up and cheering at games, said Presi- dent Angie Thomas. These T-Birds showed they had a tremendous amount of S-P-I-R-I-T!! Actually, National Honor , ciety is just as fun as the next c and very far from being boring! I club sponsor is Ms. Becker. The c consists of students with a gre average of 3.5 or above. Some tivities were setting up the Hoi Roll and giving special recognitior straight-A students. They a helped in Graduation Ceremoni There were plenty of parties ii such as a Christmas party with oL one-hundred dollars worth of plz The club consists of Juniors z Seniors. They have an induct ceremony in May, which greets r members and gives a secc chance to students who didn 't qc make the grade the first time. The President was Rene Doul day. The Vice-President was Ki Bean, Secretary and Treasurer 1 Kim Feller and in charge of Ho. Roll were Laura Hinton and Sha Mitchell.

The event was a game with our very own faculty and channel 9. They sponsored the game to take their annual trip to Washington, D. C.
