ANOTHER GUOD YEAR his year, as in previous years, Hinkley's choir groups were strong. Many under- classmen participated. The four choral groups were the T-Birds Singers, Concert Choir, Girls' Ensemble, and Mixed Choir. The T-Bird Singers sang madrigals and pop music, and the other groups sang music from the Renaissance to modern times. The Girls' Ensemble and the Con- cert Choir also performed in Grand Junction. Choir members had the opportunity to sing in the school musical, too. Rich Hugo had a good time teaching choir this year, his elev- enth at Hinkley. He was proud and very excited about the groups because there was more partici- pation from the younger stu- dents. One choir member was espe- cially talented. Senior Cheryl Rap- pel made the All-State Choir this year. s Es, . 1 L ' i' 72?
