sian Student llianee Begins First Year Sponsored by Mrs. Gail Schatz. the Asian Student Alliance had approxi- mately twenty members. The purpose of ASA was to acquaint Asian students with their cultural backgrounds. Among activities for the year were vol- leyball games and a bake sale. A banquet was held on February 15. During the meetings, many members helped one an- other with homework assignments. Founding Fathers replaced officers. They were Terry Chan, Vu Dinh, Susan Schaef. and Ellen Woo. Maxine Womack and Gwen Evans were the club mas- cots . Other members were Le Nguyen.
