Girls' This year was an excellent season for the girls' basketball team. The girls were continually ranked in the top five in the state. The key to this year's success proved to be the team's very strong de- fense. Defensively the girls were the best in the league. The offense was led by the high scoring of Kim Jackson and Terri Walters. Furthermore, Coach Melton cited Michelle Oswald as the most improved player on the team. One of the brightest spots of the season was their 58 to 38 trounce over Boulder. Because of the teamls fine young talent, the 1981 year looks to be another excellent season. ia?
