In the beginning of each semester, we pack our belongings in suitcases, gas up the car, kiss mom, dad, and the dog goodbye. We begin what we hope will be the start to a new life and a wonderful career. Some students come to Hinds knowing exactly what we want to do with our lives, while the majority come to search for that perfect major that will eventually lead them down the road to success. College life is con- sidered in a world of its own. We are considered bright, and ambitious by the outside world, but sometimes we ask ourselves the question why did we ever begin such a task. We study, study, study, and party, party, party, and in between the two, we wonder when we will ever catch up on our sleep. There is something special about being young and in college.
