Pick up fall class schedule from the administration build- ing. Go home. Sift through pages of English Lit. listings. Pick out the easiest teachers first — then organize all classes on TT so MWF ' s are free. Leap out of bed the next morning, drive to school, and wait in line for an hour in the MFH lobby before entering the madhouse gym. Grumbh over to campus police to pay parking tickets left from th previous semester. Pick up a white card at the administra tion building. Back 30 minutes later to the MFH and begii the maze. Hinds honored Dr. Clyde Muse, president of HJC, with investiture ceremonies in April of 1979 in the college audito- rium. Dr. Muse is the sixth president of the college and the first president to be invested as a junior college president in Mississippi. The program included a processional, invocation, and fea- tured speeches by the platform guests. Ted Kendall, Hinds Board of Trustees president, performed the investiture.
