A native of New London Connect- icut, Dr. John Manchester attended Livingston University in Livingston, Alabama where he received his B.S. degree and then attended North Texas State University in Denton, Texas where he received his Master of Music Education degree. Dr. Manchester has since earned his Doctor of Arts Degree in Music Theory from the University of Mississippi.
