Presented by THE SOPHOMORE CLASS HINDS JUNIOR COLLEGE Raymond, Mississippi Hinds Community College District The future beckons and we turn our footsteps in that di- rection, determining to over- come anything that may stand between us and success. But no matter how many obstacles we may meet along the way as we delve into the future, there will be, to make each Hill of Difficulty seem a flowery bed of ease, a pleasant memory — a memory of a friend, a joke, or a teacher at Hinds Junior College, a memory that we have long cherished and one we hope never to forget. The college Yearbook should serve the purpose of bringing to life once more the treasured memories of those past, yet ever-present days. crev cr fas Time cannot steal from us the many acquaintances and friendships that we have made at Hinds Junior College. As a part of the academic and the vocational units, we have each played an important part in making the year a success. With this thought in mind and with a desire to show our love, admiration, and appreciation to our fellow classmates for being the amiable material from which we could make our year- book, w e dedicate icanon % , t cr s £ -K5 | Tl AROUND iM E i +m - - , - , ; ,, CAMPUS President ' s Message Hinds Junior College has aspired to be the perfect mold in shaping the lives of individuals. ' Without them the publication would not have been possible. They bridged the gap between the amount of money we were able to raise and the cost ot the book. Our realizing this is not enough. Each student should make himself realize that a great part of the cost of this .book was borne by the firms who paid money sp that he -might have a memoir of this year at Hinds Junior College. In fact, you can do more than just realize it If you will. Thumb through the pages of these ads and note the firms who bought space in the advertising section.
