Q8- NX Ben Plache Q. 'Fi-Ir at Qi WEE! The I986-87 year for the Varsity Squad was really an exciting one. The squad achieved su- periors on their cheers and received two spirit sticks at camp. These accomplishments started their year out great! The Varsity Squad also showed much original- ity by having nine cheerleaders, two of them being guys. The squad had many challenges throughout the year, but were able to hold to- gether and show Hilltop High what real school spirit was all about. They were always seen at school activities, parades, all types of sporting events, and of course the pep assemblies! They made the year a great one for themselves and everyone around them. The squad shared many memories through- out the year which will make it hard for them to part at the end of their Senior year. Both the good times and the bad times will never be for- gotten, and the year will be held in their hearts as one of the best of their lives. They brought in more dance to their routines this year. They always showed much enthusiasm and were always a great joy to watch. The J.V.
