Formed last year with the help of Ms. Weldon, F2.A.T.S. has been a big hit with everyone at the Big Bed. But what does the Fl.A.T.S. club do? you asked. First of all they promoted school spirit during the year by sitting together at sports activities and cheering our teams on to victory. By the end of this year, the B.A.T.S. had reached one of D - its main goals - to unify the T. Tagliarini discusses money mak- M. Every year two members from Interact go with Mr. Solak once a week downtown to a Rotary meet- ing. This year they were invited to a luncheon where they were introduced to suc- cessful businessmen in the community. They learned about their successes and how they achieved them. Besides projects for the school, Interact also did a pro- ject for the community in the month of October. They held a haunted house which every- one thought was very suc- cessful. The proceeds were given to the Muscular Dystro- phy Association. Interact: Bottom row I to r: H. Detwiler, J. Barron, M. Vega, J. Teston, J. Walker, S. Hutchinson. Top row: Mr. Durate CSponsorJ, T. LENDING A HELPING HAND Adding a special touch to many of our school functions were the Terrierettes, spon- sored by Mrs. Dixie Murray. This outgoing group of young ladies promoted spirit and represented our school by performing such tasks as fur- nishing refreshments for play- ers and coaches, greeting the opposing team and its spon- sors, and acting as hostesses for concerts and plays. Throughout the year, the Big Red Terrierettes worked hard to help out whenever they were needed, and were always nearby to lend a friendly smile and a helping hand. TERRIERETTES 27
