ANCHORS SAIL ON . . . This year Anchors sailed on to new horizons. With the help of their sponsor Mrs. Haines, they were able to put smiles on the faces of the children at the Faith's ChiIdren's Home by holding a Christmas party. To help raise money for the club, Anchors held many suc- cessful carwashes which turned out to be a lot of fun and not a lot of work. Every- one agreed that this year brought many smiles and was one to be remembered. Smiling faces reflect the fun times Anchors have had meeting through the year. vnlumlll'll'f'll'l 'l,,,,,,,,., Mrs. Haines is busy making plans. 24 ANCHORS ! in Anchors: Bottom Row I to r: T. Davis. Mrs. Robinson was apprehensive as to whether she could lead the club through a successful yearg but she later found out that there was nothing to worry about. Mrs. Robinson had a group of hardworking and dedicated girls. The club got off to a great start this year selling Terrier key-chains as its money mak- ing project. They used some of their funds to buy refresh- ments for the energetic mem- bers who participated in the U.S.F. 12 Hour Disco Rollers- kating Contest for the blind. S Club also visited a nursing home for the elderly at Christ- mas. Mrs. Robinson was thrilled with the club's suc- cess. M. lrvin is anticipating hard work. S CLUB ' 23

Every year two members from Interact go with Mr. Solak once a week downtown to a Rotary meet- ing. This year they were invited to a luncheon where they were introduced to suc- cessful businessmen in the community. They learned about their successes and how they achieved them. Besides projects for the school, Interact also did a pro- ject for the community in the month of October. They held a haunted house which every- one thought was very suc- cessful. The proceeds were given to the Muscular Dystro- phy Association. Interact: Bottom row I to r: H. Detwiler, J. Barron, M. Vega, J. Teston, J. Walker, S. Hutchinson. Top row: Mr. Durate CSponsorJ, T.
