SERVICE ALWAYS ESSENTIAL The 79-80 Kiwanettes brightened the year with ser- vices of different kinds. Their first project for the community was during the Christmas holi- days. They visited a children's home, extending smiles and laughter to everyone. The club's next project was in May for the students. The Kiwan- ettes sold Beach Week towels so the Hillsborough students could take the Terrier spirit with them during their summer vacation. The group acquired a new sponsor, Mrs. Morrill, who was, full of life and ready to get the club rolling, as stated by some of the members. All in all, the Kiwanettes felt they had another memorable never-to-be-forgotten year. S. Altman and K. Snyder have con- tradicting views about school activi- ties. KIWANETTES 21

DEDICATION SOMETIMES WORKS The Civinettes had one service goal to follow for 2 years: to raise money to put a sign in front of South Campus identifying it. The club sold student directories in the month of January to bring them closer to their goal for the school and community. Another service the Civi- nettes did for the community was going Christmas caroling before Christmas Day to bring happiness to people. This year the club wanted to bring as many services to the students and the commu- nity as possible, stated Tami Curry, president of the club. This year, the group was hon- ored with a new sponsor, Mrs. Warr, who replaced Ms. A. Daniels. Their goal of raising money and participating in service projects was cheerfully tack- led by all members of Civi- nettes. Junior J. Skora's Civinette walking suit is an every year tradition. Z CLUB - STILL Another year and Zonta Club was still on the move. Zonta for Z Club as it was usul ally knownj provided numer- ous services for our school as well as for the community. Mrs. Santos, who has been the sponsor for the past 2 years, said that the most rewarding service the club performed was going to an orphanage at Christmas time. The girls felt the most enjoya- ble service they performed for the school was sponsoring the Sadie Hawkins Dance. They also planned a special Christmas for a very special family. They provided them with a Christmas dinner, and presents for the children. This was the most touching of their various services. Yes, Z Club still remains true to their goal of serving the Big Red. 22 ' Z CLUB C. Kent patiently listens to ideas.T E T. Gallo enjoys Z's Sadie Hawkins. What's so funny? , says K. Arnold.
