Fortunately, Hillsbor- ough has a fine guidance office with competent counselors to help students solve these problems. A day was set aside during which representatives from various fields came and talked to stu- dent groups, answering questions con- cerning careers and required training. Career exhibits were set up in the gym for students to see and free literature was distributed. The guidance department also admin- isters placement tests to help the student determine where his greatest ability lies and his eligibility for scholarships. Sen- ior placement tests, Scholarship Quali- fying Tests, and manual dexterity tests are given each year for this purpose.
