History lleparimensi Hillsborough excels in the Social Studies department by providing courses covering many phases of history. World History, H1, unfolds the ancient story of civilization. Before us looms the Sphinx of Egypt and the Roman gladiators in the arena. We learn of man's set- backs and progress. American H istory, H2, boasts of an inventive, brave people in a proud new land. We deal with the foun- dation and growth of a new nation. In H3, Problems in American Life, We study about banking, foreign aid, taxes, politics, and economics, and we become acquainted with the problems of life in a democracy such as ours.
