Page Twenty-Four Mr. Walter Pearson Head of Department Science In this world of ever-increasing scientific progress, H.H.S. does its part to make us aware of these ad- vances and gives us much of the basic knowledge that has made all this possible. Biology 1 deals with the gen- eral study of life, while Biology 2 takes up human phys- iology and nature study. This year for the first time physics students were taught by a set of films featuring Dr. Harvey E. VVhite of the University of California, supplemented by our own teacher, Mr. Mark Brown. Chemistry introduces the fascinating study of matter and the fundamentals of scientific research which stu- dents use as they complete individual projects for the annual science fair. Aclvancecl science offers a practical survey of all branches of science. '
