will f Q x Y vi' --. f 5 X Cole Iidwlrds, Chu, Fmmt Long, Pulliam, Lynch, Allen, Ciinos, Klar fECU D 9:45-l0:50: After the three minutes between classes, the loud din of voices could no longer be heard in the corridors and once more the quietude of second hour descended on H.C.H.S. On those days that Mr. Girhard was detained in the ofhce second hour, a low mumble of voices that later developed into a jam sessionl' could be heard in the upper corridor. Could the physics class have been locked out of the lecture room again? We remember too the loud crash that penetrated our ears on the day that Stuart Cole fell out of his seat-of-honorn in room 13. The students in the classrooms near the foods laboratory no doubt enjoyed the delightful Z6 Beckham. Rill, Guile, Niehrand, lfnster PERHNJ aroma of home made candy the week before Christmas-Miss Foster's girls' contribution to the Christmas cheer in their respective homes. With the coming of spring, we understand that the freshmen were so overcome by spring- fever that on the first warm day Miss Whitten was forced to let them take a turn around the building to subdue their vagrant impulses. This also reminds us of the time when Miss XVhitten spent part of second hour in the library thinking it was third. This, the so-called serenity of the second period of our school day, was always broken by the thud of twelve hundred feet hitting the floor at once, and the corridors buzzed again with lively excitement.
