One night a month the Spanish Club members meet at the school with Senorita Batey to supervise. They enjoy slides of Spanish speaking countries, Spanish games, and even talks made in Spanish. Every other Tuesday night Mademoiselle Phillips and all the French Club mem' bers congregate at school to speak, listen to, or learn something about francais They enjoyed a prof gressive dinner at Christmas with different French skits at each house. These two clubs help their members to appreciate the countries and people about which they are study' ing. They help to accent the foreign element of our activities-AS WE HAVE LIVED:. Hillsboro Girls Make Dorothy Handley, Gail Harris, Martha Vaughn, Bonnie Graham, Sandra King, Pat Goff. Marcella Rose, Judy Edwards, Carole Carter, Gay McGroger and Jessie johnson. The Hillsboro Chapter of Future Homemakers of America was organized this fall. Through a na' tional, state, and district program in the home eco-- nomics department, the goal of the chapter is to prof vide training for each member in the participation of home, school and community activities. Ivlembership is limited to Junior and Senior home economics girls. These girls served as hostesses for sports banquets, a luncheon for school officials, the PTA spaghetti supper, Fathers Clubs and PTA meetings, and the TEA Committee meeting.
