The Board of Education is the decision making body for This body establishes policies pertaining to all areas of school administration. Their tasks include approving the budget, selecting text books, and mediating between district personnel. f , -ul Principal John C Marshall has graduated from Franklin into Hillcrest. He received a B.A. in Business Administration and a M.Ed. from Southern Methodist University. Mr. Marshall, concerned about the welfare, rights, and feelings of all persons, would like to make the student body care about group centered feelings rather than self centered feelings. Mr. Charles Mathis, Assistant Principal, has B.S. and M.S. Degrees from Prairie View ASZM and North Texas State Universities. He hopes to be remembered by the students for: QD asking them to go to class, and Q22 cooperating with the students and the administration. Assistant Principal Mr. Gene Ward wishes to reinstall school pride as his primary objective. He attended the University of Houston and East Texas State University. He holds B.S. and M.S. Degrees. Mr. S. M Cayce, Assistant Principal, graduated from East Texas State University with a M.S. Degree. During his spare time he fishes and plays golf. Mr. Clifton E Strlbling, Principal Aide, holds a B.A. Degree from Prairie View ASZM. H 1
