The color scheme was red and blue' which carried out the pirate idea to perfection. The place cards were in the form of a pirate's cutlass and the nut cups were shaped like pirates' hats. At intervals along the tables appeared treasure chests full of gold and silver. The Sophomore girls who served were dressed as pirates and later favored the Juniors and Seniors with a dance. A welcome was given to the Seniors by a member of the Junior class and was followed by a response by the seniors. The menu was in keeping with the idea carried out in the decorations. The food was enjoyed by everyone. The program was followed by the Junior-Senior Prom in the gym.
