CLASS PROPHECY June 16, 1966, the first reunion of the graduating class of 1962 . Being the first to arrive, I settled back and watched as my fellow classmates enter the building. From out of nowhere came squealing of tires and a wailing siren as two cars pulled up to the curb. The first contained the two most wanted gang leaders, Ann Goodwin and Pauletta Sprague , who are raising cain with the male population in Chesan- ing. The second, a squad car, contained none other than Chief Ray Adams and his faithful assistant John Sherlock Schultz, the greatest long arms of law. After this the people came in segments; the first of which was armed forces. In the Navy we have seaman 10th class Rus- sell Lynn and Machinest Mate 8th class Mike McDaniel . Flyboys Joe Stewart and Steve Hulsey are among the finest washouts i in the world. Of course, the Coast Guard hasn ' t lost on anything by gaining Ed Walker ; after all, every sailor loses a few ships. The class of 62 was always known for its sportsmen, and even now we have the sports world well covered: Baseball— Tom Tekiele , 6th team out field, Milwaukee Mill Mitts. Mike Coke , 1 2 miler in a mile race. Francis Keys, all time great as record holder of the most strike-outs. Track— Gary Cooper, broke short-put record with the 16 oz. ball 5 ' 2 . Football— Charles Pickles Dinnan -fullback- 98 lbs. Basketball— Russ Burkett— center— 6 ' 5 (he grew some since last seen.) Along the line of well developed bodies we come to the world of fashions and other modeling jobs. The greatest of these are Pat Mosey and Kaye Munsey who are in the swimming suits department. Not far behind are several other greats: Vonda Wiggles Smith — sheath dresses; Connie Nicholas — swimming pools; Dave Morton— abstract clothing— it ' s in style now. Music is the main interest of Jim McClellan and Larry Blissett who just love music. Television is receiving its share of personalities. Dave Horner as Big Gun and John Donaski as Lester have their own series. Also the Lassie show has been taken over by Queenie starring Loxi Hoskins . The movies, however, have really triumphed with stars like: Janice Zsa Zsa Allen , Diane Natalie Wood Bechtel , Bon ' j nie Marilyn Jensen , Carl Martin Porter , Bonnie Jayne Walters , Gary Tab Anderson , Brenda Star Harrison , Richard j Bob Gumming Tarrant ; and of course, Gregory Peck Kuzniar . The fUm of the year was made in Canada by Sgt. Preston Moose and Glenn V-2 Powers. It ' s a story of a downed pilot who is found by a mounty. In the medical department we have the greatest doctors in Otis Kildare Hill , George Ben Casey Saucier , Mike cut ' em up Tackebury . A patient who really isn ' t sick is Don Vantine . Dave Osterman has a better excuse; he has a broken heart— his car broke apart. And Xenolene Bronson just hasn ' t got anything to do. Einstien has nothing over George Ardnt and Shirley Hodges who are just crazy about people. Wedding bells have been ringing for: Donna Britton , Kaled Linsay , June Canfield , Diane Skinner , Carol Hobson , Wanda Reed , Penny Perry, Diana Short , Ronald Six , Nora Stafford , JoAnn Atwell , and Charlene Dennie . A few never tired of school and started teaching: Dan Sveller — Math, Marsha Huber — Hygiene, Tom Tarrant — Math, art, and coaching women ' s physical education. And last there are some who just like working: Gale Jacobi — farming; BUI David— drafting; David Peterson, after 4 years of college is picking apples; Bernie McNeil— night watchman. 24
