The Rangers won second place honors in the Little Ten Cnference, losing to' Newell, 77 to 74V3. Bob Johnson, Ricky Linstrom and Kenneth Coffield placed in the Region VIII track meet at Hot Springs and qualified for the South Dakota State Track Meet at Huron.
