CHEERLEADING Hard Work Pays Off Win Sportsmanship Award The enthusiasm was kept alive through the hard work of the cheer- leaders once again this year. They were under the guidance of Mrs. Sal- ly Whiting and Mrs. LcAnn Suhn. The six squads of cheerleaders which were chosen by the student body had various jobs that they were to perform. They were to represent the town, increase the school spirit, and keep the crowd under control. As well as fulfilling these obligations they also made signs and planned pep rallies. The Girl’s Basketball squad, with the help of the crowd, had the privi- lege of receiving the Sportsmanship award for the District 15 Basketball Tournament. “Cheerleading has been an ex- citing experience.” -Kari Griese With the help of the advisors, the cheerleaders held their annual Par- ents Night which is to show the ap- preciation of the players for their hard work, and the parents for their support.
