Each course is taught in its own particular place ound the school. Each department is located in its m particular place in the hallways of our school. ich is more interesting than the next. For instance. you walk onto the campus you pass the gyms mere you may encounter a game of basketball tween the boys and the girls. Then one passes the ind Hall where there is a constant outpour of usic. lAs you enter the halls lyou pass the Choir depart- Ent, the lunch room, t e Social Sciences depart- nt, the Mathematics department and so on. each :partment distinctly different than the next. Ltother thing that you may notice is the constant ling of activity, as each department is always busy lth some chore. And although each course is dis- ictly different from the other. they are all intere- ted in their workings with each one helping the her: that essential unifying force. So come with us now to meet and see the many ces and places of Highlands High School and see if pu do not recognize that pride and unity of which e speak. These faces ai places play a vital role in the development of : unmatched pride and unity amon the studen teachers and administrators on the sciool cam us. The faces of the students are all as indiviclixal the personalities behind them, and the heritage each one makes Highlands a melting pot in itse However, the most interesting fact about the faces the students here at Highlands is the diversity their talents and interests. An assemblage eager to learn the facts about the own particular interests. they gather at differe places around school to receive instruction. Tl vocational programs offered here at Higlhlands gi' students the opportunity to learn aboutt eir arttc lar interest in actual working situations.
