People And Places As you look around San An- tonio, you will see many High- lands students in many different places. There are many activities in the city for the students to enioy. You can see these stu- dents walking along the river walk, shopping in the many stores and browsing through the art galleries. Among the activities they enjoy, are look- ing at the sites at Hemisfair and the Alamo. Also, there are many nice inexpensive places to grab a bite to eat while spending a day shopping and sight seeing. spam! Q . Highlands High School is noted for many things and among them is Spirit Week. During this week, the faculty and student body ioin together in spirit, pride and loyalty. All of the halls and rooms were colorfully decorated with banners and streamers which the students had made. During Spirit Week the teachers participated in a contest sponsored by the Student Council to see which was the worst dressed Indian or best dressed owl! With this, Highlands remains No. 1 throughout the years. 22 Campus Life
