President oi School Board Our San Antonio School Board is a policy-making body which delegates to other capable people the handling of administrative business. In the con- struction of new schools, the Board does not open bids but it acts on them when they are submitted to the Board. Purchasing various school equipment, electing teachers to the district, and granting leaves of absence are some of the many duties for which the School Board is responsible. The Board, composed of seven members, meets the second and fourth Wednesday of every month. This group of dedicated people is in charge of all the San Antonio District schools and their activities. They are making this big job a good job.
