IIIGSIZA BRINGS GAlA ,Cecil Miller tries to explain how all the flowers are put on the floats, but Carol Norville and Ruth Ann Leigh don't seem to Be 'interested in facts. They'd rather enioy all the floats, parades, and festivities of Fiesta Week. Blue skies and green grass brought a new feeling to Highlands, Warmth and friendliness radiated throughout the campus. Students gazed out of windows daydreaming of swimming, pic- nics, and horseback riding. Seniors cherished their last days. Spring had finally arrived. Daydrearns became realities. Class picnics, dances, school elections, sports, and parades were all part of the gala season. Nervous stu- dents walked the halls wondering if they would be the future leaders of the class of 6l. The various clubs contributed by sponsoring casual and western dances. Boys participated in the prominent sport of the season, track, and the girls looked forward to new Easter outfits and marching in the Fiesta parades. The junior high students impatiently waited for summer vacation while the seniors enjoyed the fuss of graduation and looked into the future seeking a re- markable summer and exciting college.
