Remember when ALLAN SKAGGS said, Give me liberty or give me death; tGuess which one they gave himD Do you remember the Intolerable Acts of 1765? Just 211 years later we have another group of Intolerable Acts such as . . . THE DETENTION TABLE ACT - That quiet corner where KELLIE GOYNE, TERRI AVENT, and PAM BEARD have been known to luncheon. and OFF LIMIT SMOKING AREAS - where JEAN FISHER, CARI RODGERS and TAMARA WILSON have been known to visit. tRemember girls, school stage curtains cost a bunchJ Everybody remembers the Boston Tea Party, but we'll bet BRYAN COLBERT, MICHELLE SHERWOOD, and TAMMY COOPER will never forget PEGGY JONES' Tea Party . . . Peggy, the tea went into the bay not the bod. Everybody knows about the tea they threw into the Boston Harbor, but did you know that when THERESA CUMMINS and RHONDA BARRETT got so carried away they started throwing the nearest things into the Harbor including MIKE LADD, LAURA FRYE, ALAN KINZER, PEGGIE CLARK, and ROLAND MUL- LINS , along with the crates. tSmall wonder it's STILL polluted .1 Two hours after the Boston Tea Party. ROXANNA HOOLEY went back and apologized, and apologized, and apologized . . . Does anybody really know what the Sons of Liberty, COY MURRAY, MARK BROUGHTON, DANNIE JOHNSON, KEVIN NEUOCH, and SHERIDAN ROSE did? If you're not sure ask SHARON JONES, PATTI CHESSER, and LEIGH HUSKEY, the Daughters of Liberty . In the year 1776 we had Paul Revere, but today we have KIM BOECKEL and KATHY TILTON, running down the halls yelling, Guess what you-know- who told me. Don't shoot until you're sure it's our goal. was a famous quote of COACH WAGNER'S to some of his freshman players, tCHARLES MIXON, JIM KIPER, and ROBERT WHIPKEYL RENNIE JOLLEY was the only one who supported the Tory Party in America . As everyone knows it didn't last long. tRennie is still trying. thouth DAVID JOHNSON, DANIEL PURDY, and STEVE WULF fought diligently in the front lines at Bunker Hill, but after the SMOKE HAD CLEARED from behind the hill, who did we find but RICKY FISHER, MARK HALE, DAVID HILL, JERRY MORROW, DARVON BROWN. and KENNETH TRANTHAM. Revolution 1776? n 4'x if ' k 's. x I H. -' Everybody knows about Washington crossing the Delaware, but not everyone knows who rowed the boat . . . our sources inform us that JEANNE HOLJES rowed while DAVID HOIJES sat in the back and said, Putt, putt, putt, . . DAWN ARMOUR is still trying to figure out what she did that made the whole British Army mad at her. Showing that centerfold of that wierdo to General Cornwallis didn't help any. At Valley Forge, Washington was on the verge of burning RANDALL WELCH, LARRY GILL, and NICK DIEHM for firewood, tFlick your bic, GeorgeD COY TAYLOR'S license was suspended because of wreckless driving . . pulling a cannon? Betsy Ross - tELIUSl is still trying to teach her prize homemaking students, IANIS UNDERWOOD , and JUANITA PEREZ how to make flags. JIMMY NOLAND and LEE WAYNE LOGSTON, Highland Park's own Benedict Arnolds, felt mistreated by H.P. girls so they went to River Road, or was it Travis, or was it . . . FARLEY DETTEN is still up in the old South Church mumbling One ifnby- land, two if-by-sea, or was it two ifeby-land or one if-by-sea, or maybe TERREL CHAMBERS would have been in the Revolution if he hadn't been so busy in front of the mirror trying to decide which satin shirt he should wear. Knowing RODNEY WALKER, if we would have lost the Revolution he would have taken it personally. We know they rationed food at Valley Forge, but in TIMMY WELCH'S case they went too far. After the war, JOEY WIMBERLY collected all the spare cannon balls and invented bowling. LINDA MCREYNOLDS is renowned for her Sharp-Shooters Medal, unfortu- nately, it came from the British. We all know about DALE WHIPKEY'S great experiment with a kite and elec- tricity, it went straight to his head. . and then there's CHARLES STUART and LANCE KELLER. Well, that's about the long and short of the Revolution . F reshmen TERRI AVENT Basketball Pep Squad QIeSJ Spanish Club D . AWN ARMOUR Math Club S . C .
