'F Daily work is an important facet of the General Business course. Gary Musick adds Hnlshmg touches to his woodworking project . . . in the classroom The courses at Highland were designed to entice the student to apply his knowledge to new concepts. He re- ceived a dose of ethics through the efforts of the Social Studies teachers. Through field trips, he saw the appli- cation of educational processes. He acquired skills such as tailoring, typing, woodworking, and drawing through the studies in the vocational and practical arts. He was expertly guided through the Brave New World and Julius Caesarl' under the direction of the English staff Math and science added dimension to the studentls con- cept of the established truths. Most important, he has learned to face the coming years with an open mind. Eager seventh-graders keep cadet teacher Peggy May on the move in English class.
