Some of the students in Project STAY disappear after lunch --, they are getting on-the-job training plus school credit at businesses like Stevens Chevrolet and auto shops in Greeley. The underclass students in the STAY program hope to be able to get similar jobs in their jimior or senior years. This has been the first year for the STAY program at HHS, but due to the cooperation of students and the entire faculty, the program will be going again next year, with many additions. The staff of the STAY program has really enjoyed working with the students and faculty of HHS and thanks them for their assistance! By the way, STAY means School Training Alternatives for Youth ! STAY is operated through Weld BOCES and funded through the State Board for Community Colleges and Occupational Education.
