As reading coordinator, Mrs. Evelyn Babcock has had responsibilities centered around the following: Q13 Coordinating and improving the reading p program in Kindergarten through grade 4 in Ault and Nunn. Q25 To a small extent she has been advising teachers in the 5th and 6th grades with read- ing, and suggesting materials for high school reading improvement. Q35 s l She has supervised the reading aides. Q45 Some tutoring has been done with special handicapped readers. Q55 She has conducted beginning testing programs and written plans and objectives related to the Accountability Program in reading. l The speech correction program is designed to serve all public school children who exhibit difficulties in communication. The basic types of speech disorders include voice, stuttering, hard of hearing, articulation, language, and cleft palate. Students are seen in small groups or individually for short periods of time at least twice a week. The two correctionists in the Re-9 district work for the BOCES and serve Ault Elementary, Highland High, Pierce Middle School, and Nunn Elementary. Miss Eugenia Carillo serves half time in Ault Elementary, Pierce, and Nunn. Mrs. Janice Elsberry serves the Re-2 district 1EatonJ and Ault Elementary and Highland High schools. U65 CWJJ 92.0.
