Interfraternitv Oouiuil The Interfralernity Council is composed f representatives from each fraternit) n the campus. lis purpose is ti promote friendship among the brotherhoods. Not only does this friendship last throughout college life and with friends mad i tin- campus. hut will extend far into the future. The experiences in organizing, planning and working together on various projects trains young men for life after leaving college. In the associations of the fraternit) men with the business world or professional world. the influence of their invaluable training will he evident in ever) respect. The council sponsors each year a big Christmas dance and a gala springtime affair. This organization along with the main others on the campus is one of the reasons for the progress and development of High Point College. October came and so did rush week, along with the fun of planning for two weeks of getting i know the girls. W iili twelve new pledges the Vlpha Gam s enjoyed a successful year of meetings, intramural basketball and volleyball, parties, and their first Feast of Roses. 23
