There on Easf Side I found my fhree old friends, Maurice Weeks, Freda I-Iiff, and Elma Brown, posing as welfare workers. They informed me 'rhaf Max Carr, 'rhe famous pianisf, who was 'ro presenf Mrs. Farrell Evans lformerly Violef Brownl in a concerf fhaf evening, backed much of fheir work.
