As we go to print, we have suffered only on deteat, at the hands of a strong West Hempstead team, as compared to our six wins. Keith Stern was the captain ot this year's team, the other members being Bob Lidz, Burt Lewis, Barry Malvin, Lee Skelly, Kenneth Al- stadter, Steve Siskind, Phil Askenase, and Steve Hartman. Goff Due to poor weather conditions, our l-lewlett golt team lost many ot its badly needed practice sessions. Despite this handicap, we have a rather impressive showing ot tive wins and three losses, placing us third in league competition. With most ot the team returning next year, Coach Dan McSweeney is expecting an even better sea- son in l957. The mainstays of the team were Bob Turell, Richie Golden, and Fred Kolber. Other regulars included Artie Gressin. The season was highlighted when the Blueiacket Ritlemen took tirst place in the Long lsland Sec- tional Championship, with a winning total ot 899.
