P.E. Encourages Competition. The developement of the body is as much a part of true growth and maturity as the developement of the mind. The excellent P.E, department at Hewitt helps stu- dents to develop good attitudes of sportsmanship. A new phase of physical education at Hewitt is called modem dancing. It not only helps them physically, but also helps them to become more creative as a person. Students who take an extra interest in physical education may also serve as a physical education assistant , which includes helping to use good sportsmanship as well as skillful training. MRS.
