Discipline, Guidance, and Records, MRS. DELIA SUTTER Mrs. Sutter has been receptionist and book- keeper at Hewitt for twenty years. She also keeps entries of each club ' s funds. Her serv- ices are appreciated. MRS. LAURA PARSONS Mrs. Parsons has been our capable record keeper for the past seven years. She handles student ' s grades, permanent records, trans- fers, and transcripts. MRS. MARION ORMOND Mrs. Ormond is an understanding advisor, who helps the students to adjust and rearrange their schedules. She also advises them on college programs and entrance exams. In spite of her busy day, she is always willing to lend a hand to students who need her guidance. MR. DAVID LOGAN Mr. Logan works three days a week at Hewitt. He is involved with Federal Programs such as the Neighborhood Youth Corps, and will assist anyone who is interested in voca- tional training. 23

School Personnel Handle, MR. HERBERT O. EUBANKS is our assistant principal and head coach. Even though his jobs require much time and effort, he seems to handle them very effective- ly. Mr. Eubanks must also handle the discipline of the students; however, this does not lessen his popularity. He is very capable, and we feel very fortunate to have him at Hewitt. 22

P.E. Encourages Competition. The developement of the body is as much a part of true growth and maturity as the developement of the mind. The excellent P.E, department at Hewitt helps stu- dents to develop good attitudes of sportsmanship. A new phase of physical education at Hewitt is called modem dancing. It not only helps them physically, but also helps them to become more creative as a person. Students who take an extra interest in physical education may also serve as a physical education assistant , which includes helping to use good sportsmanship as well as skillful training. MRS.
