Plunging into the new and unusual, the 1956 Choc- latier introduces several modern trends in yearbook tools Q including color sections, unusual layout schemes, and more extensive use of photography and special photographic effects. This, and the some twenty extra pages allotted by the initiation of patron's pages proved to be no handicap to the staff of writers, artists, and photographers as they assembled their ideas in planning an interesting and dif- ferent yearbook. In addition, the special Business Staff, called upon to solicit funds from patrons, worked exceedingly well in obtaining the money necessary for covering a part of the Choclatier's enormous bill. Thus, the staff has spent long hours in research and planning in an effort to publish a Choclatier that meets with the demands of modern, high-calibre yearbooks.
