This is the group who rightly deserves the credit for the extensive program in which our school has taken part during 194519-46. Une of its numerous duties w'1s the purchasing of all necessary equipment needed for our interscholastic sports contests. To become '1 member of the Athletic Association the student had to pay a fee of fifty cents for which he received an A. A. ' card. This card entitled the student to price reductions on all home sports contests. Shortly after basketball season had started a meetingf of all Athletic Association members was called in order to make an 'ippeal for more participants in all sports. Several students and members of the faculty spoke on behalf of thc baskcthall wrestling and swimming teams. We believe that the Athletic Association did its utmost to promote 'ithletics in Hershey 'ind that its efforts were not in vain as we enjoy ed 1 most successful 'athletic program during 194549-16. 76 C Q C C Athletic Assoclatlon Council : .!', .
