On This ship he performed duTies in The OperaTions DeparTmenT and saw acfion in The Philippine and Oki- nawa campaigns. Eor The period beTween World War II and The Korean Conflicf, Lieufenanf Commander Quinn served aboard The USS BRUSH, a uniT of The same desTroyer division as The THOMAS, and The Seaplane Tender, USS PINE ISLAND.
