ROW 2 - Scott Sloan, Betty James, Penny McTheney, Mona Roberts, Sandy Smarr, Steve Myers. ROW 3 - Linda Jeffers, Barb Vance, Peggy Williams, Kelly Cantrell, Mary Lou Hall, Renita Wilson, Jerry Ray. Deca was an active organization winning third place for fence decoration during homecoming ac- tivities, held two bake sales and also sold candles before Christmas as fund raising activities to pay national Deca dues for all students enrolled in the Junior and Senior Classes. Seven members attended the State Deca Con- ference March 15 8a 16 in Fairmont. Competition was held during both days at Middle-town Mall and the Bridgeport Holiday Inn. Those members attending convention were: Tammy Droddy and Barbara Givens in Food Distribution, Jenny Carey and Peggy Williams in Food Marketing, Rita Fields in Finance and Credit, Robin Vance and Donna Hendon in Apparel and Accessories. Each chapter was asked to make a for the convention. Several members hard making a red and blue flag with th name. The huskie and the Deca insign stitched on a blue background. Plans are being considered for an er employee appreciation night to be held b end of school. This will help to improve pu tions with our training sponsers. The Deca officers for 1978-1979 are: Pres Tammi Droddyg Vice-President - Jen Secretary - Wilma Cyrusg Treasurer - Robertson.
