The ROTC, Accelerated Reading and Drivers' Training departments per- form several important functions in fulfilling the specific needs of Hoover students. The ROTC provides boys with military training. Accelerated Reading offers students a chance to de- velop their reading speed and skills. And Drivers' Training prepares many future drivers to be cautious, skillful and alert. The services of these depart- ments are greatly needed and just as greatly appreciated.
