22 More Than Assembling Assemblies at Henrico are special events, because they are the times when the stu- dents and faculty are gathered. An assembly is a place where the students see the perform- ing talents of their fellow class- mates and welcome guest speakers. During assemblies, outstanding students receive honors and special awards such as honor society and quill and scroll. Assemblies also offer the warriors an opportu- nity to order their annuals. Because of the many events held during this time, assem- blies are greatly welcomed by both students and faculty.
