Hats Off to Henrico This fall, H-Teens IV spon- sored a spirit hat day at Hen- rico. Creativity and imagination were evident as individuals proudly wore their unique and colorful hats. It was held the week of the football game with Our arch-rival, Hermitage. Announcements and posters around campus encouraged students to wear hats to show our school spirit and support. There was an overwhelming participation by the student dody and even some of the fac- ulty. Hat day was a great suc- cess which we hope will become a tradition at Henrico.

The Donkey Basketball game, sponsored by the Junior Class, was an example of stu- dent — teacher cooperation at Henrico. The profits of the combined forces helped to provide the school with a des- perately needed Xerox machine and to surplus the Junior class treasury. The out- come of the game was a fac- ulty victory; however, both the students and faculty profited. Upper: Teachers make good use of the Xerox machine acquired by the profits of the Donkey Basketball game. Middle left: As Steve Cooke attempts to make a basket, Mr. Blackburn takes notes. Middle right: Brian Shook looks for an opening. Lower left: This donkey shows Grace Mallory who's the boss. Lower right: Mr. Blackburn tries des- perately to save the game with his don- key shot.
