188 A boy's varsity team, a J.V. boy’s team, and unfortunately, not enough girls to make up a team, are what Winter Track is all about. The tri-captains were Matt Rich, Arthur Lynch, and Quintin Terry. Bubba Hood, Eric Frederickson and James Barfield were a few of the out- standing performers. The Win- ter Track Team only had two dual meets, but they won both and also placed fourth in the region. Gymnasts “Flip Out’ Gymnastics is a sport where the team members of two teams compete against each other individually on the horse, beam, bars and floor. This year’s gymnastics team was coached by Ms. Hall and assisted by Sharon King. The co-captains were Pam Coxford and Karen Freed. Some of the outstanding members of the team were Claudia Arledge and Michelle Sprouse, all- around gymnasts. Exceptional performers included Michelle Diaz, Karen Ward, and Theresa Herbert.
