i 72 The Cross Country team this year proved to be champions, with the aid of tri-captains Bill Hudson, Matt Rich and Bruce Sherrod. Coach Wagner led the team to an excellent record of 7-1. The team won first place in the District with the help of the number one runner, Matt Rich. The season was a SUuUC- cessful one for Henrico. District Basketball Champs: Fourth Time Around! The Varsity Basketball Team has enjoyed a successful season. The Warriors (17-3) captured their fourth straight Colonial District Champion- ship. According to Head Coach Guy Davis, ‘‘Outstanding players include Darrell Jackson (Sr.), Walter Moore (Sr.y, Mike Mansfield (Soph.), Robert Lowry (Jr.), and Ray Smith (Jr.).
