As the World Turns... many different countries and cultures are unveiled, and peo- ple of various colors, sizes, and opinions are revealed. Communication is displayed through actions, expressions, and, most prominently, speech. Spanish, French, Ger- man, and Latin classes are taught at Henrico. These classes participate in many exciting activities throughout the year, which include con- ventions, field trips, and guest speakers. Unity, Strategy, and Adventure A.F.S. works to unify students of all countries. They house and make friends with foreign students, and they make them feel welcome in this part of the world. Mrs. Barbra Shelton is the sponsor of A.F.S. The name of the game is strategy, for the Chess Club. They learn new moves slowly but progress rapidly.
