Donaid Ganzert Judy Ganzert Wanda Falden David Garrett Nancy LaVier Julia Hamlette Individualistics Jane Barthurst has been here longer than any of the other Special Education teach- ers. The teachers in this department unanimously voted for Pat West as the wittiest and Jane Barthurst was selected as friendliest. Most of the Special Educa- tion teachers have no pets but with those who do dogs are the favorite. Reading was the favorite Wayne Moseley Sandra Shumate hobby but there were others such as visiting restaurants, snow and grass skiing, and playing backgammon. When we asked these teach- ers, ‘‘What looks best about Henrico to you?” the most fre- quent answer was the appear- ance of the campus and grounds. One of the teachers said, ‘‘Compared to other high schools the total program looks the best!’ Patricia West E25

124 Sensational Studies Among the teachers in the Social Studies Department, Miss Bishop was voted as the friendliest. Mr. Colley was thought to be the wittiest with Mr. Blackburn and Mr. Gan- zert following close behind. The most popular hobby among the history teachers is tennis. Other hobbies include skiing, traveling, bowling, photography, and survival cooking. Thomas Collier Many of the history teach- ers have dogs and cats, but one of the teachers has a goat named William and another has a cockateal. When these teachers were questioned as to what looks best to them at Henrico, most replied the students. They feel that the students have great school spirit and get along extremely well together.
