The 1978 H.H.S. Pacers Fueled with energy, experi- ence, and enthusiasm, the four captains of the varsity track team led their co-workers toward a 6-1 winning season. Overall, the team was strong, but it excelled in distance run- ning. Coach Criswell, a new member of the coaching staff, worked with the weight men. While Coach Wagner condi- tioned the distance runners. Coach Garbett trained the sprinters and jumpers. Record breaking performances were made by seniors: Dave Robin- son’s 64%” high jump and Perry Wheeler’s leap of 21110%” in the long jump. Top: Kicking up dust, Arthur Lynch cruised the 440 yard dash.
