An Added Touch Led by Co-Captains Robyn Longest and Michelle Bartlett, the Majorettes have added a special touch to school events. Their bright smiles and coordi- nated moves attract the eye of the audience and hold its inter- est. With loud and spirited voices the Pep Club has been an enor- mous aid to school spirit at Henrico. 140 The colorguard, a very popu- lar group at Henrico, has been a focus of attention this year. It consists of twenty-one flags, eight rifles and commanders with sabres. 142 Strike Up the Band The marching band was under the direction of a new band director, Mr. Aumen, this year. They have even improved their usual excel- lent half time performances. They competed in many con- tests this year, and with the money they made from the citrus fruit sale, were a ble to make one of their annual trips. The dedication of the band has always been evi- dent by their willingness to practice almost every morn- ing before school.
