The Smoke Signals has been striving to bring more knowledge about the school and community to students. Receiving its only income by selling ads, the staff buys the necessary paper and ink to develop the newspaper. The paper is printed and then dis- tributed by the staff members. The HOW Literary Magazine is compiled of students’ cre- ative works. Working with the art department, the magazine has tried to emphasize more art than in the past.
